for some reason my comp rebooted in our mission today. It was shaping up as a great battle once again im sorry for any inconvience.

No worries, mate.

I ended up having to alt out of the mission anyway.

What I am wondering about is the CTD's. It's happened to me at least 3 times since the weekend.

Yeah, that's what I meant to say, and Kreug says I was ghosted after I alted out of our mission. All I can figure is that this computer is starting to get a little long in the tooth. $:-\$

Usually that means Blue Screen of Death, since unless you reconfigured it to not auto-reboot on blue screen, then it will just reboot without anyone telling it instead of displaying the blue screen.

umm, well the best way to put it is
Blue Screen of Death, usually this is when there are poorly-written device drivers or malfunctioning hardware is usually the cause.
So the display driver used by the computer(for the video card) just malfunctioned or something went haywire with the memory of the Operating System.

Now with Windows XP, people complained about Blue Screen of Death so much they programmed windows to by default just reboot IMMEDIATLY, without the blue screen popping up. Most computers are configured this way unless your knowledgeable with computers.

So basically there was a critical error in Windows most likely that caused a system reboot to prevent damage
