Hulu has all the episodes cept for 1 and 2. For some reason those 2 arnt availble. Anyone know where 2.1 and 2.2 are viewable?

Same sitrep on Fox On Demand. They took the 1st 2 episodes off. The rest are all there... Someone has to have the 1st 2 online. Doesnt anyone that plays dynaverse watch this show? I think its kinda cool...

Last time and only time I tried using a torrent was when I completed a D/L and then the file type was unrecognizable anbd wouldnt play despite me making sure I had all the proper and latest torrent crap installed. Is there a torrent thats easy to use?

I use Vuze, formerly Azureus.  Nice graphical interface and I think it has an integrated media player.  Almost any television show that I might like to see is available via torrents and often on the same day the show is aired.  Just this Thursday, I was able to watch Grey's Anatomy, Private Practice, The Office, and 30 Rock within about an hour of when they would have been broadcast on the West Coast.  The resolution of the video files is typically not HD, but for more popular shows you can get 720p quality.  Right now I am downloading the latest BSG episode in 720p and I have certainly seen The Sarah Connor Chronicles in 720p.

In general I use VLC media player for most things I download as it has most of the codecs that you will encounter for video available online.

Ok, so I got Vuze and it does have a nice interface and its easy to use, but OMFG the download times are atrocious! 2-6 days for several hours of video! How the hell do people put up with that? That sh*t is like the dark ages of modem use... Reminds me of 1200 Baud modems!

Speed of download depends on the speed of your connection and those in the swarm and the number of peers and seeders.  I can download a 30 minute video in less time than it would take to watch it if it's a popular torrent.  My suggestion would be, if you haven't already, remove any caps on your download and upload speeds and number of peers and seeds that you can be connected to.  Also if you are downloading via a torrent that contains a number of files like a whole season's worth of a show, just select for download the ones that you want to see first.  You can do that by right clicking the torrent in the downloading list, click show details in context menu, go to the files tab and select the files that you don't want to download, right click, set priority to Do Not Download.  Now all your bits are committed to just the files that you want.

Over this 5 Mb DSL line, I have had speeds up to 500 Kb/sec.  I wouldn't consider that slow.

So for instance, I just plopped in a torrent for S02E01, size 350.85 MB.  There are 358 seeds and 456 peers.  I am currently only connected to 38 seeds and 4 peers, yet my download speed is in the high 200s to 300 Kb/sec. Estimated time remaining: 20 minutes and that's only after a few minutes of it spinning up.  I would not call that slow.  Now those speeds can vary and do vary over your download time.

Just in the time it took to add this edit, I hit over 400 kb/sec and am now connected to 75 seeds and 14 peers.  That ain't slow to me.

Yeah, i gotcha. I tried to be selective and get just s02e01+2 and that was taking days for 900MB. Few seeds and peers on that one. I got episodes 1-13 at 4.44GB DLing faster because more popular. Still been dling all night and still have a few hours left to go... I see how it works now... Thx
