Your information is not very up-to-date.  Beta is available for download through the Microsoft site:

http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windows-7/default.aspx

And keys can be obtained via that process as well.  No need to backdoor anything or work the system.

The beta was on hold for downloading due to the volume of request on Friday.  Today, it is available.  I'm at 37% right now.

If you are going to present information, at least check your facts.

Actually, it was not correct as I started the download well before you posted the initial post.

Dude. Lighten up. I do not live at Microsoft. As of 5am PST it was still down. I found this helpful resource and thought to post it here to help. So take it in the spirit it was offered and stop complaining.

Both of you gave the best information you had.  No need for complaining if the information became outdated quickly.

As new information is available I'm sure there are others here who will be interested.

OK.. I installed.. however the CD key provided when I dlownloaded the program stated invalid.. so I went back and got a new key.. In order for your Key to work.. you have to Install Windows 7 first,  launch the OS without inputting a key, go back to MS web site and then request key, and enter requested key as soon as it is displayed on the web page.. make sure you get a full key because the 15 character key is invalid.. follow getting a key instructions exactly.. I did this and my system is now fully activated..

Only problem I ran into Upgrading my system.. I had to reinstall device drivers.. some survived migration, but my system audio driver didn't make the transition.. so to be safe.. I am reinstalling all system drivers.
