experimenting with new save options on 3d exploration, here's the V44 type dvas:

This one was a little better. If the rest are 2 F***ed up I may try the new save methon. 30 minutes certainly beats 3 hrs.

Can you tell us if the ports are for SFC OP do they need retexturing or hard point placement.

Hi Starforce2 my Deepexploration exports work now again and i had totally forgotten that i wanted to convert these models.
I converted the Warbird today and resized it to match the SFC-OP Romulan Dreadnought cause the original KA model is way to big for direct port to SFC-OP.
Here is the Rar-archive with a unresized 3ds and LWO file and one resized 3ds and SFC-Mod file, the unresized files have some wrong texture placement and the mod file has no Hp's and needs some lightmaps.

Forgive my ignorance but what is the source of these models. Some are interesting and I might be wanting to use them in an Armada mod. Just trying to track down those pesky permission thingies.

Kthyla is a credit only person according to the list in the stickies.

As for lighting I will probably hand them over to cordinalis or JB06 when they get online (atleast for my bcports) but if you guys get to it first then great.

I have a Klingon Academy Tholian style version of the Tholian cargo freighter ready to go once it's actually lit... It matches a retexture of the Obsidian Tholian Star Base, a version of which was from Taldren's aborted Galaxies at War project.

See attached files mod gods. I made what I think are appropriate light maps but I can't attach them...

It needs lighting and for the Read Me/credits to be done. This was a retexture done by using the Klingon Academy Tholian, DN, BCH and DD texture sets as well as the Taldren Tholian Freighter from the aborted Galaxies at War project.

Ill contribute if anyone wants here is the v44 lit up with a brk mod scaled close to the rcl and uses the stock hardpoints reworked. Who should i give this to i dont know if Kt'Hyla allows battlecliinic uploads and the file is to large to upload it here?

Thanks to Starforce I know I have neglected a lot of conversions I had been working on years ago I should really get back to.

The main problem with KA converts though is the MASSIVE amount of textures. Many are redundant.

I'm just glad he never disliked how his work turned out after I got a hold of it.

Just caught the post and have now downloaded the ships.. will proceed on making the lightmaps and modifying the meshes to support them if there's an interest?

As always right now, the only time I can upload is when I'm at work.. home still has dialup being the country and all.

Btw AB, have also downloaded the Tholian.

Excellent Atheorhaven. I am really looking forward to the lit version of the Tholian Freighter.

Also Kreeargh, thank you for tweaking the V44. Any chance you can tweak the Romulan Mobile Repair dock?

In the meantime, I have a Reman version of the V44 completed that primarily uses LC Amaral's Katarn textures. I was thinking that the Remans might have used one of these as a test ship for the later Scimitar weapons... I don't recall LC Amaral's release permission policy off hand though.
