 These have been done on "Mythbusters" and "TIme Warp", both on the Discovery Channel.

It was originally proven, on TV in the UK, by a Dr. John Tickle.

He demonstrated that it was possible to walkquickly across a swiming pool filled with Custard.

problem with that is, it isn't walking on "WATER".  custard has a heck of alot more density and surface tension then water.
