To those that "Protect and Serve"

I cannot say if this is true, but it is funny.  I have no idea if it was phot-shopped or whatever..but I love you guys

Mike

The Kane County, Illinois, Sheriff's Department orders plain white patrol units and has the graphics applied locally. In this case, what they ordered was not quite what they got. This car was driven for 1 week before an officer noticed what the graphics company employee did on the passenger side of the car. The employee did this on his last day working for the graphics company before he retired.

Here's hoping they didn't have a rectal removal of their sense of humor, some of the cops here no doubt would be pushing for some kind of "defacing property" charge.

It's funny as long as the printing company makes it right.  Otherwise, it's sort of ripping off the taxpayers.

Either the picture is a hoax or the description is.  I don't buy the idea that something like that would go a week without being noticed.  That said, I did once see an auxiliary police car pulling over a donut truck.

Just snopesed it.  Apparrently, the part the picture is a semi-forgery, the part about taking donuts is made up.  The story behind the picture is completely different than the e-mail.
