Needing permission.
« on: October 04, 2008, 08:14:28 am »
hello, im looking to obtain permission to build a ship for use in mods for games, it was designed by a guy called Adam Heinbuch, and all of the emails for this chap i have i am still unable get hold of him.

I do believe the ship would be a valuable addition to any mod so i am quite desperate to reach him. anyone here have any ideas?

Thanks

A pic of the ship or a link to it or his site would help most of us are visual in nature.

It makes it easier to identify things.

He probably isn't active publicly anymore since I did a little Google research.
I found the ship drawings on two sites, but only references of people taking about him from 2002 and 1998

Maggot and Darkdrone give him a schematic credit in a mod file back in 2000/2001 There is no email listed for him in that so I would say do the same. "Original Design by:"

Still that was only with 10mins of work so I would suggest you try a lot harder. I usually don't know designers unless they also 3d model, so otherwise I could rattle off at least 10 of them from this site alone, but I've never heard of him in my travels, sorry...

Looks like it might have been done
Possible

If one was done there are probably more, and the authors of them might know more on how to contact the orginal designer

Have you tried checking over at www.scifi-meshes.com/forums ?  The author may be there.  If not, or if you've already tried and he isn't, then you could build the ship and give him full credits for the design, or not build the ship.

Use your best judgement.
