Server Restored.
« on: September 16, 2008, 05:36:27 pm »
Sorry about the downtime, we had a issue come up during maintenance.

Of course, we're back. DNS will take some time to replicate, so bear with us as everything evens out.

I see some posts were lost during the outage.  At least everything is up and running again, which is the important part.  Good timing too cause I've got something I've been wanting to show for a while.
The pen is truly mightier than the sword.  And considerably easier to write with.

Looks like 1834 other people can see it Worfy, and they never went down. The Directory services are hosted on a different server than the D.Net webs.

Unfortunately I still can't log in the Dyna II servers.  Did the IP address or something else change?  What's the issue guys?

I am getting the firewall message so something might not be right with the servers.

Not sure what the problem is but I am having the same problem that Worf is having I think. The log in to the access server seems to go normally but when I get to the Server list for SFC3 it is empty. There are no servers showing up no matter how many times I refresh. It has been this way for about three days now. Just posting to let you know that Worf's problem is not an isolated one.

Many thanks

Drone

There are still problems with the server as they are not showing game servers showing at this time.

Gamespy is only involved in regards to their authentication of your GS account. They have nothing to do with getting a "firewall" list. :)

Please check the directory services now.

Excuse me?

I'm aware of the issue, but I'm also aware that I'm seeing connections on the SFC3 directory services opening up and closing.

We'll continue to look into this, but please don't make it sound like we're not aware.

Jesh, some people just have no understanding of the world CIVIALITY.

Can someone check the Directory Services for EAW / OP?

Look it up.

I just saw the SFC3 directory services connections go from 4 to 8.

It appears clients are connecting and the directplay test is launching.

Okay, but no firewall error, correct?

It just loaded and didn't see any servers?

Prior to this evening I was getting the firewall message.  Now, it's the blank list, at least on OP haven't checked EAW today.  It's nice to know I'm catching up to everybody else.  :))
