Star Trek Legacy to SFC: OP....
« on: August 29, 2008, 08:10:55 pm »
We have models from ST: New Worlds, Starfleet Academy, Klingon Academy, ST: Armada I & II, ST: Elite Force, ST: Dominion Wars, ST: Birth of The Federation and other Trek games I can't think of off the top of my head but I do not recall seeing any ST: Legacy models being converted to SFC: OP.

Is anyone converting any legacy ships to .Mod format? The Romulan ships seem especially interesting as TARGETS:

The FASA Romulan Winged Defender in ST: Legacy is different from the SFC: OP D2 version...

I am sure there are other models/planets that would also look good in SFC....

I know it is possible to get models into legacy, however I do not think that there is a way import models out of legacy.

that first 2 should be easy enough to simply rebuild. Someone could probably do thatf aster than sorting out the import methon. What I do wonder though is what the differences are between that winged defender and the D2 one? I always thought that *was* p81's sfc version...

Mad doc or Bethesda soft works whichever wont release any plugins. From what i have seen Moonraker is the only one that has attempted a port in plugin for it and people just bitched about it so he didn't want to bother with a port out plugin.  Legacy sucks though am i the only one that gets screwed up textures and lighting errors? + finished the lame campain in less than 4 hrs - the crashes. The hardest mission was the asteroid one with the stargazer  :screwloose:.

maybe they've reelased another patch or 2 since then, because I found the game so hard I couldn't get out of the ent era. some of the stock models though are probably best rebuilt, most people around here can do better.

Only one patch was ever released.  Any enhancements for Legacy are made by the community.  The Legacy developers canned support for Legacy almost as soon as it was released.
