Sorry guys new to the board. Have just reinstalled Orion Pirates Vanilla (it has been a few years!!) Where would I go to get uptodate on the latest for this program or other mods. This site seems amazing I just don't seem to know what I need to D/L to get into some games

Hey there.... the best place probably is http://www.dynaverse.net/forum/index.php/board,3257.0.html Hoping you have a highspeed connection of some kind, because you should download the latest enhancement package. That has models, etc that you'll need to play on most servers..... as for campaigns.... well, I'm not sure entirely. Your best bet is to watch for announcements. You'll want to find a fleet to join. If you look at the index in here http://www.sfc2.net/forums/index.php you might find some folks to contact. I'm in the Klingon Black Fleet, and I can't recommend them highly enough. I suppose that once you start to contact folks in the fleets, they'll be able to tell you more about how to get started here. Also... when you run your game, open the 'multiplayer' tab, click on Dynaverse 2, and look at the currect servers. They should show what you specifically need to play them. Hope that all helps....

No problem, sir. It isn't as complicated as it sounds. It really all starts, I'd think, with what you fly. Klingon, Fed, Rom, etc.... If you aren't sure, play single player, and see what you like. I was Klingon before I ever got the game, so the choice was easy for me. And the people in this community are the best I've met in more than a decade on the internet....
