Netflix?
« on: August 18, 2008, 05:42:48 pm »
anyone use this? Good things? Bad things? I'm looking for those with an informed opinion.

I've been thinking about starting it recently. I'd like to see more movies without having to plunk down the $s for blu-ray discs as much as I have been lately. I also like the no late fees, pre-paid postal and being able to set up a queue for what movies I'd like to see.
Only in America .....do we use the word 'politics' to describe the process so well: 'Poli' in Latin meaning 'many' and 'tics' meaning 'bloodsucking creatures'.

I have it and no complaints.  You also get some movies you'll never find in a store, like the animated Starship Troopers Roughneck campaign series.

Also a user for several years now, like it. They've been very understanding with DVDs that either never arrived or never made it back; as long as it isn't constant then they'll forgive and forget.

Be sure to check out the free streaming video  section. Some good movies and tv series there.

I don't think I have a good enough connection to take advantage of that.
