« on: July 19, 2008, 02:13:36 pm »
Firing up OP today, pulled a mss32.dll missing error.  Is this a reinstall?  Where are the dll stored in OP (found a file with original DLL as a title and it contains mss32.dll)

Orig_dll is created by my Enhanced dll file installer

In the main OP Directory.. find the DLL_Uninstall.exe and run it.. it will restore the original *.dll files back into the game.. You game will work just fine using those.. the DLL installer of mine is using newer versions that are known to be compatible with OP..

If you want to reinstall the DLL files, then you have 2 options..

If you are using the OP Enhancement Pack, then go into the Installs folder and you will find the DLL_Install.exe .. just run it and you will have the enhanced DLL files reinstalled.

If you don't have the OP Enhancement Package, then you can download it from

Hope that this helps.

couldn't find the dll uninstaller file.  I ran the full uninstall for OP enhancement.  It gave a warning it couldn't find the file either.  Did a reinstall, but it not working yet (but might be my dual screens, shutting one down to check.

nope screen just flickers now (a windows box appears down in the lower right corner, can't read it.  Just pops up and goes away in a flash).  Grrrrr, thinking time to reinstall again.  ah well, time to reorganize the HD's alittle anyway.

Okay, correction.  It was a screen res conflict this time.  Seems to work.
