SFB Hydran captured D-7H "Anarchist"
« on: July 29, 2008, 02:32:06 pm »
Hello, i want to know if there is a model available for SFC2/OP of the SFB Hydran captured D-7H "Anarchist" ???
I have made some new TMP version model of it but the weapons of it in the SSD are on some odd places and why don't they reuse the Klingon Torpedoes !??

WOW!!!  That looks incredible.

You can put a heavy weapon on phaser hardpoints.  The only real problem is putting phasers on heavy hp's, since that will mess up the phaser capacitor.

You can use the KCA UI.  It won't display quite properly in game, but all you really need is access to the various points anyway.
DuctTapeWonder's retexture has the extra hp's, though their placement doesn't quite match the UI.

I wish someone would do a Hydran retexture of the original D7 instead of Moonraker's old K'tinga.  Have you considered retexturing Atra's D7?  If it has to be a K'tinga, how about WZ's?

Sorry this is not just a retexture of Moonrakers K'Tinga the model is my completely new made K'Tinga low poly model and the textures are partly changed Textures of Moonrakers K'Tinga.
I'm simply to lazy for making a complete new texture for it cause those are good enough for me  :)

I even just want some TOS version of this.  :)

At first glance, and this is just for me, you can't tell that the model is low poly.  She looks great, and looks as if she's in the 7-9k range.

Then again, maybe she is.  I haven't downloaded it yet.

Nah,
You can tell pretty quickly that the model is low poly, look at the engines and you will see it. Then the neck area and you will also see it, as they are the areas most noticiable.

Also it looks like Moonrakers Kligon ship, by the textures. He used snap shots of the studios model to make his, these look like a fitlered colour change on his ship for the most part. The ship still came out good surprised no one did this before now.

Modified area:

Opps, looks like they beat me to it, about identifing the ship. I also agree there are better models out there now that can be modified.

Sigh, here we go again...
This statement was not about your model but me agreeing that a high end version of this ship should be done

ok, i know and sorry if you got my comment wrong.
maybe i could make a better high end version but first, i don't have that much time like other to work on a high poly model and second, i'm to lazy for such long term high detail models  :)
