That;s awesome, but the CS had a shorter aft hull. Can you do a chop shop on it?
Rather not, for several reasons.
1.) To do what you ask would requre the textures to be redone and then remapped, two things I can't do nor can I even outsource right now.
2.) The pylons being used currently take up a good portion of the aft secondary hull. Making the secondary hull shorter would actually make it look worse.
3.) I used the pylons I did to help create the effect of the ship's length being shorter, which it does quite nicely. A couple others that I've spoken with actually agree with this.
4.) I think the standard secondary hull would be a practical upgrade from the TOS version. After all, a TMP version is supposed to be more durable, more versatile, than their TOS counterparts.
If you haven't noticed, because the design of the pylons, I had to reposition the engines forward further to compensate, which gives the overall effect of the CS.
Only thing I don't know about is whether I should have also added an extra torpedo launcher to the torpedo bay so she's got 3 tubes firing forward. That's actually easy to do, believe it or not. The concept might be ideal, since this ship is supposed to be a strike cruiser, after all.
