IT: How to spoof an MAC address

My old linksys has the feature built in, it came in handy occasionally for finicky DSL DHCP servers.

A lot of NIC cards allow the MAC address to be changed on the fly.

It usually isn't a big deal as MAC address filtering on most networks should also be combined with hardware encryption, that goes double for wireless networks.

I thought it was PVC schedule 40 piping.
The pen is truly mightier than the sword.  And considerably easier to write with.
