After having the server up since the weekend with all accounts starting with 75000 prestige, I believe that enough time has passed so that all players online would have all their accounts created and lost Prestige restored across various accounts.
As of right now, I have cleaned the DB again and i reset new accounts to start off with only 5000 prestige. If you did not use the opportunity over the past few days to create your accounts to get your starting 75000 prestige, then you missed out. Many players on both sides have enough accounts to drop bases all over the map.
People just coming into the campaign, I will assign 75000 PP for your primary account only during the DB cleaning. Subsequent accounts will start with the server default of 5000 PP.
Current players, you probably have many accounts with 75000 PP in each one, so you can live with any more accounts starting with 5000 PP..
If you are like me and play nutter hours through out the day, then you can make 25-30 K PP in just a few hours.. I make 42K PP over the last 2 days and bought 3 bases and I still have 12K on my primary account. I haven't even touched my other 4 accounts (I have 2 Fed accounts, 1 Lyran and 1 Mirak).
Out of 4 accounts I have 237K PP remaining, not counting missions I will fly tomorrow. That is at least 1 to 2 bases per account.
as such, if you have 4 accounts, you can easily place about 2 bases per account after just a few missions.. that means 8 bases per person who has 4 accounts.. That is a great many bases to drop.. so the safest thing to do at this point is to limit starting PP again to the starting 5000 PP except for the primary account of any new players.
New players need to PM me or post in this thread after making their primary account, and I will credit the primary account 75000 PP during the next DB cleaning.
Current players, if you didn't take advantage of the free PP and make accounts while the making was good.. I'm sorry, your time is up.
The DB is clean, Starting PP reset to original 5000, and the server is back up and running.
