DVR for broadcast TV
« on: June 19, 2008, 08:02:31 pm »
hey all. I got an HDTV a while ago and hooked up the outside antenna for the first time. I figured I'd give TV another try. anyway, all I have is over-the-air broadcast. I can get all the local HD channels as well. There are times, read NHL finals, where I'd like to be able to record things. It would be great to record them in HD as well. So, I was wondering if anyone makes an HD DVR that I could hook up to my antenna and TV. Anyone know of anyhting?

I'm also not going to set myself for a DVR. Any reasonable device that records in HD that would work would be looked into.

Thanks.
Only in America .....do we use the word 'politics' to describe the process so well: 'Poli' in Latin meaning 'many' and 'tics' meaning 'bloodsucking creatures'.

Humm....I do believe there are some external USB devices that allow you to record over the air HD broadcasts.

Ah ha!
