There's a new Constitution variant at JoAT, the Luxor (fifth one down). I think it looks really neat. Anyone interested in modeling it? It looks right up WZ's ally.

I'm gonna go out on a limb because I can't find the links or threads and say someone's already done/was planning to do a series of models for SFC based on this theme.

The ships he is talking about if you click on the word luxor, is a ship Adonis was doing the ones with the egyptian style textures

Yeah I recognize the ship, but were they ever completed?

Now that you mention it, that does sound familiar. But Adonis doesn't actually release models, does he? I've seen lots of beautiful pictures, but no download links. For example two months ago he said the Mesopotamia was finished and "coming soon," but I can't find the model anywhere. Then there is his Excelsior that three months ago seemed to be lacking only some markings. His page at Outlance is empty except for some "news" from 2006. He seems to be a very talented modeler, but it doesn't look like he's very interested in releasing his work.

Adonis releases his stuff, but a considerable amount of time passes between releases. That's just Adonis.

Hell, he's still got his Cheyenne Refit unreleased, and that's been finished for I think 2 years now.

Well, firstly the renders there are of the model itself, both of her variants to be exact

(I never showed the refitted version publicly). Secondly, by now the Mesopotamia would have a BC release but my own PC's broken (a few burnt-out electrolytes on the mobo, so nothing to worry about, the models are safe and sound). As for the Luxor fleet, I have 3 variants to finish (The Constellation-like is done model and texture-wise). And Johanobesus, the Excel is far, far from done, her complex aztecing makes the process long. As for SFC ports, I'm unable to fully do them myself, and besides, i do have a recet release (last week) on BCFiles, a ship I never showed here due to the fact that she came out at 14k polies.

Oh, and the Mesopotamia will be added to JoAT too, just so you all know
