Topic: long time

Hey guys,

I don't know how many of you good people recognize me, but I remember a few of you.

I havnt played SFC for a long time, but im looking to get back into it... one problem.

it's a pain trying to sort through the post and downloads to figure out what I need.

Can anyone help me out with this? which servers are active, shiplist? new patches? are we playing op still?

Yes we are still playing OP. A server is going up soon so stay tuned for info. Good to see you back.

for most servers all you need is to patch up to 2552...install op+4.0 and from there it will depend on the server...

hardcore is up using 4.0 now i think but you will need to download and install the mission specs...

boneyard is the same set up as hardcore only there is a different shiplist involved that you can d/l from a ftp listed...

strayys tavern is usually always up and you will need to check the site listed to get the link for that one as well...

dunno what happend to the forge... 

anyhow you will want to be sure and update the directory servers portion as well otherwise you will not be able to login to the dynaverse...this will be an option when you install 4.0...

I would recommend Pesty's excellent enhancement pack here for pretty much everything you'll need for OP and online play (outside of individual campaign requirements)
