Hello from Guymon Oklahoma
« on: May 10, 2008, 11:50:52 am »
Well Now that I've been here a while I can tell you some things.

The good the job, has it's moments like this week had a new cleaning crew so we did not get started for about 2 hours later than normal all week, and they still gave us today off.

the bad everything else about this town.

Was told we would have no problem fineding a place to live total BS,
I stayed at the so called shelter for about 3 weeks finally had to get out of there, Was a couple of fights after I left which was why I left as I figured there was going to be one sooner or latter with all the male egos and chest thumping going on, I did not need  to be in that nonsense

Spent about three months in a motel as there is no housing out here for rent, and it took that long for me to find one where the person did not want to gouge me on the rent to begin with, Yes a lot of price gouging out here because of seaboard being the highest paying employer. But the place I got is a small one bedroom house and I,m only going to be paying 315 a month for rent, but I also got to pay for the electric and gas as well but that shouldn't be too much, being a small house and all.

The good thing about the gouging is, it makes the walmart out here the cheapest place to shop ;)

Still don't have a phone yet, but maybe when I get that stimulus check next week I can get that plus TV and Internet hooked back up.

Only other bad thing is moving into the house took about everything I had saved up to that point  but the good things is I can start saving more money now that I,m paying by the month and not weekly, and I can start paying back people I owe money to.

Last deal I'm working on is I hope to have a car or something by at least labor day.

well that"s it for now next time you see me posting I hope to be on my own computer and not the library's computer's.

Nice to hear from you man, I need an address for you though.

Hope things turn around for ya, and you get on your feet.
