AOTK4: The Strange Trip Home (RMs Needed)
« on: April 14, 2008, 01:58:15 pm »
Dizzy is way to busy with RL to run an SGO server any time soon.   So let do what the networks did during the strike, re-runs!

2 Sided war, pretty much a re-run of AOTK3 as I'm way too lazy to think of something different.

The sides were:

Kitties:  Lyran, Kzinti, ISC, Federation

Coalition:  Romulans, Kingons, Gorn, Hydrans

(I'm open to swapping the Feds with the Hydrans if the RMs can agree on it).

I need a Kitty and  Coalition RM.  Please PM me if interested.

Well, since I was already lined up for SGO8...I will be Coalition RM...unless, of course, someone else wants a crack at it.  ;)

Diehard.. I have a zip file with all the newest scripts included.. If you like I can send them to your email the zip file is 13.8 Mb, however not all of them are new.. I can't remember which one's are so I just packed up the newest one's from 2006 and 2007 .. 77 scripts ... give me an email and I will shoot them to ya. I verified scripts by date created.. scripts are dated from 3/06 to 7/07..

again, just shoot me your email and I will send them to ya.. You will need Winzip to decompress.. or if you like I can RAR it ..

Let me know.. I can shoot them tonight.

Might I suggest we simply rename the SGO8 forums on sfc2.net, could even just dump them and we''l start with a clean slate since many players will probably be choosing different sides.

I think I'm just going to stick with the scripts I used last time.   They were stable and worked.  I'm really too lazt to QA 70 new missions.

I will need help with an installer, the app I use isn't very good and many players have had problems in the past.

So Deadman, with the odd race layout, are you coalition this time?  Or another race going to be your huckleberry.

We can always swap the Hydrans and the Federation, I think at this point in time we can get away with it.

I have to admit I'm a bit dissapointed that we won't get SGO8, because I was training up on my Hydran techniques. But for this, I have to start picking up on my Fed moves. The Majestik Moose flies again!  :drink:

You're always welcome to fly Hydran on ATOK with the Coalition, Father Ted.
Perhaps a little help from your end  ;) ;) will help ensure a different outcome for the Coalition than the last ATOK.  ;D

it's an easy fix...

just copy and paste from C over to whatever drive you have OP on...

but your installers have not been the only ones ive had to do this with...

so if no one puts together an installer and you end up having to do this yourself...there shouldnt be any issues...

IN FOR TEAM MILF! This is going to be different having both plasma throwers on one team... Woot?

[edit] as a member of, not as an RM... I'm WAY too bad at this game :D
Alternate universe:  Khan was banished for preserving the peace. The Genesis device was really a super weapon and kirk had planned to use it on the klingons. Chekov found the Botany Bay and khan hijakced and killed the evil reliant crew in an effort to destroy the genesis device.    Ahh i love it :D The alternate universe rocks.

I know it's going against the poll but the teams will be the same as last time.   Having the Hyrdans and the ISC on the same side in Early is just evil, the Coalition RM would prefer to have the Hydrans, and team M.I.L.F is just too damned funny not to use.

I'm working out some infrastructure issues at home and will hopefully have some kind of a test up and running early next week.

Excellent...

well I'm likely going to run around in fed CA of some sort again here :)

However you can keep me in mind as a wild card if you need wild geese or people to step up to the plate to keep things balanced.

So, do we have a planned start date?

Just curious because I'll have to get the game reinstalled with all it's necessary accessories by then.

You could get started and knock off some rust on The Forge with us, sir.  ;)
Will you be flying Gorn?
Gorns are part of the Coaltion this time... ;D
And we're kinda strapped for Gorn players these days.
