As requested.. also starting on the Jagoroth ship.  Trying Lithunwrap to build the initial sphere because it's portable and I can take it with me.  :)  (Going to narrow down the white band yet).

So when is the Dalek mothership model coming out.... the one from the 1960's film??

Maybe a Soltaran warship with fighters maybe as well??

The Klingons have many ways to fry a cat. I prefer to use an L7 Fast Battlecruiser!!

You'll have to find them as I'm already busy with a few projects.

The Dalek ship in question is that thing that looks like a 1950's Yank car crossed with a flting saucer.

The Soltaran starship is shown several times in a recent Doctor Who episode.

Okay, still working on things slowly.. I think though that my TARDIS is going to a v4.  :p

Redid the textures a little bit (okay a lot) to get them closer to the show's current, (actually matched the base texture color.. oooo )

And got the windows done similarly.  :)

Also, work continues on the Jagoroth ship..

Nice work on the Tardisv3, I am testing it in an Sfc3 Mod. After all only a TimeLord can stop the Shadows from B5 who are running rampant in the alpha quadrent, he he.

Loads and plays well, just one comment it is very tiny in Sfc3 smaller than a shuttle.

Any advice on how to make it similar in size as maybe a talon, sabre, bop or pyramid?

I have used Tardisv2 this model does not appear as small in Sfc3.

Absolutely.. Timelords can create tractor beams that can pull starships out of black holes, surely they can create something to disrupt phasing into hyperspace..

The model.siz file is the one that you'd want to edit, but it was scaled that small on purpose.. it's scaled to the same size that it is on the show, a bit larger than human size.  Personally, I think that adds oomph having something that small creating such havoc.  :D

Otherwise it'd be like scaling the 289m TOS Enterprise to match the length of the 1500m Omega Class Destroyer from B5, just wouldn't look right..

Well, the new textures that I'm creating will bring the look closer to the show yet, and there'll be multiple texture sets.  So you'll be able to have it look like the TARDIS from your favorite Doctor.  And those skins will work with the current mesh.  :)

The v2 TARDIS wasn't quite as small because of initial model scaling.

Been discussed, but unfortunately, the only ships that are able to spin ingame are starbases.  Any starship appears to be locked in regards to rotation mostly unless stopped and then usually only turns very slowly.  I'd have to have the TARDIS spinning at warp turn speed to even get close to how it appears on the show and even then it'd probably be spinning at less than a quarter speed.

About the only thing that I could do at this point would be to move the Z axis (vertical) to an angle to the ecliptic like 55 degrees or so.. that'd tilt the TARDIS over in the direction that it was moving, but it still won't be spinning.  :p

Posting on this one because I'm going to release an update for the end of the Tennant era..

Adding an addition to the break mod for a v3r release, but am attaching an image of what it's going to be.

You'll be able to see this during the break mod, when the Doctor manages to jettison the Console Room from the TARDIS in order to save himself and his Companion from Death, yet again... just before he enters the Time Vortex and goes elsewhere to make emergency repairs..

*HAD* to do something for the end of Eccleston and Tennant's eras.. after this, the old TARDIS won't be the same..

And here's the download link.. will upload 'er to Battleclinic in the morning.  SFC 2 and SFC 3 version only for now, but the main textures will work on the SFC 1 previous version as well..

(edit: Second shot shows what I did in the break .MOD, the TARDIS itself is a good number of seperate pieces  with the Console Room being one piece.  So when the break .MOD is triggered, the Console Room will pop into being, and the TARDIS shell will break up beside it.  :)

Also shows the illumination textures a bit better in the second photo.  New addition.. 518 polies..

cool... make a low poly doctor too, and make him one of the _brk pieces in the .brk_.mod... then when we blow it up we will see him and the console fly out..  ;)


I liked the idea of Zoe and Jamie on the console actually.. especially this shot which shows it's happened in the past:


Although the color is wrong on it.. should be more like this:


Although... Rose on the console would be cool too.  ;)

Personally though, I don't think that having the Doctor fly out would look right.. if anything, he should always survive.. maybe on the console as well though.  :D

ohh i want to see more of this for sfc given non nudety and more green fyi  ;)

Took me a bit to figure out how to upload on the new weird format, I don't intuitively see "Upload" under "Tools".. I'd see it as being attached to the SFC (or whatever game) section and then "Upload" from there.

But whatever, I overcame my internal weirdness and found it, so there you go.  ;)

And thanks Kreeargh.. hopefully someone downloads her and plays with her and tells me how it works for them.  Seems to work okay for me, but YMMV..
