That looks like a real beauty.
Hope someone takes up the challenge and models her.
God said to the Welsh: 'I am going to give you this glorious land of lakes and mountains.' So where's the catch, asked the Welsh? 'Wait until you see the neighbours,' replied God.

Looks like a TMP or even TNG-era sleeker version of a Daedalus Class. Looks awesome thus far. A worthy design of such a great visionary.

That almost looks like the Asimov/SEARCHER from the 1980s Buck Rogers TV show. Atrahasis has a picture of that ship at his site someplace.

Atrahasis made the Discovery for SFC and I don't recall who made the monolith for SFC.

Nice work guys and a fitting tribute!

:D you need to go by actual structures not by superstructures...travel pod docking door is one of the better options...shuttlebay is another.
If you go by the Shhuttlebay, you'll see that what you say is the bridge makes no sense as a shuttle bay should at least be over 2 decks in height(something like 2.5-3 easily)

I make it at 17 decks - depending on how far down the hull it goes.
