Why haven't HD DVD videos dropped in price
« on: March 18, 2008, 11:11:56 pm »
Since Toshiba and all the major studios have abandoned HDDVD format, I was hoping that the stores would cut prices to clear their inventory and make room for more bluray disks.  They don't seem to have done so.  Can someone explain why?

its a scam, they might do it or they will return it to the distributor before they drop the price.

so wait and look a bit everywhere to see if they drop if, but don't expect them to do it.

They have dropped in price. I can get new HD-DVD videos for around 16 bucks. Compare that to new blueray videos at around 26.99 - 32.99.

As of last week, they're still around 26 dollars where I am.

Donno what to tell you. I live in San Diego. Perhaps the local Best Buy really wants to get rid of them to make room for other stuff.
