Yep, I'm still around though I typically only lurk.  Every minute of free time that I could get for the last year went into writing my parody.  Once I get the PDF version posted, I'm not sure what I will find to do with myself.  Hmmm... maybe actually play some SFC:OP or III?!  Madness!   :D
