RIP bro.

Never hung out with strafer much or even played with him much but he contributed to the game a whole heck of a lot and seems he was a real likeable guy from what everyone is saying. Makes me sad he's gone. My condolences to his family and to his friends. Always really sucks when you lose someone you love. It's really good to see his friends post here. Some nice reads... and a few really good tributes like Frey quitting smoking. This community is a bunch a pretty cool peeps imo. Strafer had a real positive influence on some of the peeps in this community and that's pretty touching.

It is always tragic to see someone go before their time.

A game community is just taht, a community and the loss of anyone diminishes us all.

Condolences to his friends and family.

In times like this, I remember words that give comfort for friends and family. Losing a member of this community so young gives pause, but we should reflect on the good times, and the contributions he made.

The crew of the space shuttle Challenger honoured us by the manner in which they lived their lives. We will never forget them, nor the last time we saw them, this morning, as they prepared for the journey and waved goodbye and 'slipped the surly bonds of earth' to 'touch the face of God.'

Thank you.

Well I never had the chance to know Strafer and now never will have. :(

My condolences to his friends and family as I experienced what they're going through less than 2 years ago after my own father became another Cancer casulty.

I donate, monthly, to International Cancer Research, who support all those front line independant non-pharmacutical company scientists and doctors in the war against Cancer, with funding grants, bursaries, etc.

Some of the breakthroughs, over the years, have been as a result of the work of the independant scientists abd doctors working in hospitals, universities and laboratories all over the world funded by the charity.

The war on Cancer costs and receives very little government funding around the world, so it's up to us to help hit back.

The Klingons have many ways to fry a cat. I prefer to use an L7 Fast Battlecruiser!!

I picked up my Chantix, and I've started it today to quit smoking.

I'm going to do exactly that, live as long as I can so I can tell people about Yves.

May God bless his family and ease their pain. His pain is over, may he rest in peace.

I never knew him, but after reading the posts of those that did, I believe that his passing was a great loss to the SFC community as a whole. The world is a little darker place when decent people are lost.
