Might also be useful to get an idea of how much [realistically] people anticipate playing - one nutter balances out a lot of casuals...

I'll be flying Coalition, but will probably only get to log 10-15 hours on a two week server these days.

I forgot why DH told me never to do signups... The coalition boys dont signup. Gives the impression they have fewer numbers. Oh well.  :mischief:

How many times will this be debated before a server even starts...?
Do we have a firm start date?...map?...any idea of how the campaign will even work other than the races...?
I asked to have the forums set up the day Dizzy made his announcement. made some posts, sent pms, etc.
Some early birds signed up...
It's not who signs up in the forums that will even matter...it's who shows up and puts time in that makes the difference.
I think it's a wee bit early to start worrying about numbers on the server based on who joined the forums anyway.
Let peeps sign up with who they WANT for a change, rather than saying, you should fly for us because we have the least in the forums... ;)
I'm sure they'll be plenty of time for asking for volunteers to change if there turns out to really be a huge numbers imbalance.

Perhaps someone could post in the FPF and SSCF forums and let them know.

Coalition.  Fear the other kitties.  I finally got my copy of op in.  i patched and modded and did all the hooplah.  my wireless-g router has an internal firewall grrrr.  it's a linksys wrt54g3g-st  anybody know how to open ports or just shut off that infernal firewall?  i'm using sprint mobile broadband now woohoo!  no more dialup for this dinosaur. i've got the linksys support team working on it.  they're supposed to call me back but they've got their hands full with vista problems.  i'm glad i have xp still lol

on a different note... i haven't played in over 4 years.  my first ai mission was a bomb lol literally.  i forgot how to do t-bombs.... it's not in the hotkey list in my manual...anybody?

if anybody has the fix for my router ports you can im me on any of them in my profile.

I had a Linksys, it should be under your security settings, there's a subsection there for the firewall settings, just disable it.
I would also advise you to set it DMZ mode rather than opening ports, a lot less lag that way.  ;)
