Sins of a Solar Empire
« on: January 26, 2008, 12:16:14 pm »
Is anyone else looking at this game, Sins of a Solar Empire?  I loathe the title, but it looks pretty good.  It's an RTS/4X game.  Includes diplomacy, tech tree, the standard stuff.  It's apparently had a public beta for quite some time meaning that it should come out of the gate ready to do.  It has a multiplayer component with a special feature, the ability to save a multiplayer game in process and resume it later, so you can play really large maps for months, or get together to play just on weekends to pick up where you left off with an existing game.  People are already planning a Star Trek Mod.  In general, I don't really like RTS games or 4x but this seems interesting to me.  Apparently, they have tried to minimize micromanagement which has always bothered me in such games.

haven't even heard of it to tell the truth, but looking at the site you posted.
"All hominins are hominids, but not all hominids are hominins."

"Is this a Christian perspective?

Now where in the Bible does it say if someone does something stupid you should shoot them in the face?"
