Tech help

The last 9 months or so i have lost the ability to play sfc and view models in the taldren mod viewer  :-\ . I think its caused by the new vid card i got.  I recall when it was released someone said the taldren viewer is part of the game engine.
The game flickers when it gets to the 2nd screen and flickers when in play mode  and models or weapon fire dont show up. In the viewer i have to zoom in and out to see any thing then polys dissapear and some show white like the maping was wiped from that poly. Id love to take a hammer to my pc but that option is out for the time being  :'(
So does any one know if the nvida Geforce4 mx 4000 vid card is compatable with sfc series and the viewer? Or is there another problem i need to address?
Time for life!

i remeber with the sfc series that direct x was a massive issue, dont know if thats the case, but if you have since changed directx versions mabey it would have an effect on the mod viewer, if the taldren viewer is part of the game engine then this sounds plausable but i am digging deep here  ;)

I'm running a GeForce 7300 GT graphics card, and I actually don't have any problems anymore with any SFC graphics.  I used to experience, on occassion, the odd effects of graphics going crazy.  Nothing but colors and lighting going nuts, which would make seeing my own ship and enemy ships, hell, the entire map, virtually impossible to see cause everything was showing up in psychedelic colors with lines everywhere.  It would also affect the modviewer too.  Only solution to that problem at the time was restarting your PC and hoping it would correct itself after boot, which wasn't always the case.

If your card is the problem, might just be something wrong with the graphics processor.  Try reinstalling DirectX 9c and then reinstall the newest graphics from nVidia's website, in that order.

If that doesn't work, take a shotgun and shoot your graphics card and see if you can buy another one with more current tech.
The pen is truly mightier than the sword.  And considerably easier to write with.
