Was wondering about the Forge myself...

Been playing on the Boneyard for a while now too - <S> to Raztax for running er for at least 2 resets so far

seems like there's a "test" server up, though no info on that... and Strayy's Tavern is up.... still.....  :)

I haven't checked in a while, but is there a single installer for Strayy's Tavern - I know i have bits and pieces, but don't think i ever strung em together right....

I believe there is a single download for Strayy's Tavern these days.  At the very least it's broken down into two big sections.  I had a ( bleary-eyed) look around in my files to see if I could find the program but the coffee hasn't kicked in yet so there hasn't been a lot of success.  Strayy's Tavern has good missions and sweet models but it really needs to be balanced a bit better.  I'm not sure why I keep getting put up against Borg super-cubes (30 phaser X, 8-12 heavy photon torpedoes, 8-12 plasma R, 10 drone launchers and God's own shields) when I'm flying light non-X cruisers.  Other than that it's an awesome server.

Thanks Beeblebrox...  :)   I gotta work on balancing the OP server :banghead:  Dificulty settings are set higher, but still not sure why the goofy thing likes to send out heavy iron against guppies...  The EAW server is balanced now... think the bugs are worked out of it ... got lots of help from Lear  remedying Rom issues  :notworthy:   Both servers have a complete installer for the missions, models and shiplists, (alas  no uninstaller)  located at  Tavern.250free.com  (no www.)

Frey has been diligently setting up a new server, since it was decided to move the Forge to different hardware.  It will be back up, I've just got people over for the holidays and don't have the time to do it yet.

Family is more important than a game my friend so no real hurry at least on my part and I am sure others feel the same, just enjoy the holidays :)

Will second Deadman on this.  Got my machine back up and running so itching for a good game, but it can always wait until after the holidays are over.
