I love this design, but it has a more reptilian feel to it than avian. This would make for a great mirror universe gorn ship, if they were a race that named their ship classes after dragons. Perhaps this one could be the Ancalagon class.

Dragons that's it, my mind was saying "reptile" but I couldn't think of what reptile it was reminding me of. We were thinking exactly the same thing from the look of it.
