Thinking About My Next Trek Project

While a new project is likely months away, I'd like to know which among these ideas holds more interest for Y'all. I'd like your vote and any feedback you feel like adding to it!

I voted for the tramp freighter.  I'd like to see your version of the STU from the eyes of a haggard, put-upon freighter captain.

I voted for the tramp. Second vote, if I was allowed one, would be TNG pirates.

Of course, Endy season the next would be welcomed, too

Dominion war, in a B'Rel. Other then that, a Dath'mar series.

I voted for Dath'mar. I found him, to coin a phrase, fascinating. A thinking man's Klingon rather than a stereotype.

Well...Dath'mar has become unique, but the original intention with him was : A stereotypical Klingon who could think. Smart badguy, and all that.

And hurray to the Capt., you posted like hell today!!

Era asside, hows about a freighter captain who turns pirate?

The Tramp Freighter IS the most promissing in terms of story-line fodder. All the ideas I have in mind for a Pirate series...can work just as easily, giving me twice the material.

I liked that episode as well. But are you speaking of the one with Mayweather's family or the other freighter episode?

I liked 'em both.

Seems the favor is almost totally with the TMP Tramp Series. If I were to vote...I would prolly give it my nod too.

I didn't vote. i like small ship stories.  So whichever you use, as long as we don't have another one with the big top of the line cruiser, anything is fine.

Hey, mine's not a big top of the line cruiser...

...it's more medium sized.*shifts his eyes about suspiciously*

Not sure a D6 qualifies as top of the line either.  I've gotta write my E7 story.  Love that ship.

Went for the TMP freighter as well. On first reading just the options, I instantly arranged them thusly:

TMP era
Dominion War escort
Dath'mar
don't care but prolly TNG pirate then ENT era

I now have a consensus of those I believe likely to vote on this'n.

The Tramp wins.

The crew is designed, the ship selected and the first storyline is now taking shape.
