Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street

Dont know if any interest in Tim Burtons Film Adaptation of Sondheims most excellent musical.

Good Ole Tim got Johnny Depp(Sweeney), Helena Bonham Carter(Lovitt), Alan Rickman(Turpin), Sacha Baron Cohen (Pirelli) in it and looks to be quite a treat...provided they not short change the score.  This musical can work w/ less than capable voices cause the underpinning music is so strong, though a trained voice can really blow ya away

A couple Trailers are out.

Numba Wun Below has a bit of ole Johnny Depp singing and in the context of the story line that bit of the "Musicalness" works for me and is quite intriguings

Numba Two is a little more narrative and a couple different scenes present

Comes a time when the blind man takes your hand
Says "don't you see?"
Gotta make it somehow
On the dreams you still believe
Don't give it up
You got an empty cup
Only love can fill
