Goodbye Max... you are legend, and will be missed

Max was an original, a sad day for all Packer fans, and the NFL in general.  Now I wish the Packer's hadn't had a bye... he would never have done this on game weekend.

I caught this last night when The wife was watching her Broncos/Steelers game.

Oy. I actually remember the '67 super bowl.

RIP Max.

If memory serves, in regard to Lombardi, the pack was being slapped around in the first half. The team expected the coach to go ballistic. He never uttered a word until told halftime was ending. He walked past the players, waved his left arm and said. "C'mon ladies."

The Packers won the game.

Yep, who knows, I may have even changed your diapers.

It was after the 67 super bowl that I decided to take the Chiefs as my AFL team and in 69 I took the Redskins as my NFL team.

Lombardi was named head coach of the 'Skins in 70.
