apparently the game will be out this fall with 8 multiplayer on xbox and 16 players on PC....

Wow, it looks SO arcade like. I hope it has more depth to it than what I saw on the three game play videos. Looks visually nice, but seems a 2D game set in a 3D landscape. I dunno, but it seems extremely cheesy.

I totally think I'd have more fun on a D2 server using a BSG mod. lol

Yeah...looks fun, but the ship in the #2 trailer just flies around in circles shooting constatnly, doesn't look like it tracks ammo or anything.
Arcade shooter type.

I'll probably dl it, but not what I'd hoped for.

Exactly... and I'd expect MORE from a game that comes out so many years after this one... Bonk, let's do a BSG server on OCI. Only thing we need to figure is how to get a ship to launch 16 PF's without having to resort to it dropping 4 'pf pods'.

Hmmmm... you'd think we'd have found a way by now if there was one... I have a few ideas I can try.

Well, one way right off would be to simply increase the maximum fleet size to 19, but then I'd have to make a repair facility in the OCI for that to work well as the game can only handle 3... and they'd be "ships" not pfs...

The other thought I have is to try and trick the game into getting a carrier to run PFs somehow.
