Impressive! I don't normally find ships of this era attractive or interesting but you and Azel have certainly come up with something attractive and interesting here! +1

I like the fact that the saucer has a similar design style to the CL 1500 Kearsarge Class, hinting that the shipyard design team responsible for the Kearsarge were involved with this project.

I'd tag the Crusader as a Heavy Destroyer though, something Star Fleet does seem to lack with only the Fargo Class beingthe only other DH mentioned anywhere. I kitbashed one and run it at the moment.

The Crusader is more interesting than the pretty dull Fargo to look at though. ;D

When's it in the showrooms??

Will there be an SFC 1 and SFC 2 version?? (No worries on the SFC 1 version as I'll just convert it over here!!)

The Klingons have many ways to fry a cat. I prefer to use an L7 Fast Battlecruiser!!

Cool design, guys. Interesting having the impulse reactor in the engineering section and the shuttle bay on the saucer.

My free time is now at such a premium, that this one has taken me more than a year to get this far.  I have a few others I'm working on just as slowly, including some more of Azel's models.

Sorry guys - I'm experiencing some technical difficulties (again) and haven't been able to do anything to further the progress of this one.  Once the problem(s) have been overcome I'll make extra effort to finish her ASAP.

If it is a problem some of us might be able to help you with, let us know

Like her? I love her. The Crusader immediately went into my shiplist in the Federation XDD and XDG slots. She's already seen significant action and I'll be posting some screenies shortly.

She's set up for SFC3, so you'll need to fiddle with her hardpoints for SFC2 play.

Thought I'd post a couple screenies of this amazing ship in game. Since she occupies the XDD and XDG slots in my shiplist, I took the liberty of creating a new registry for her. Thanks to MajorRacal for providing the blank textures.  8)

Enjoy...

Thanks again to Atolm for a fantastic design and to MR for making it happen in the game.  ;D
