Little Johney wanted to eat the bouger up his nose, his mother had told him to not eat with his fingers and to always use a fork...... It was inevitable what would happen next!! ;D

The expression on the child's face is also not in keeping with the injury.   That little guy should be howling in agony.

Just gently push on the area where the nose joins the face above the upper lip.

The fork has done the impssible thing of passing through the nasal cartiledge.... the nose "bone" so to speak, without bending the fork. As the "nose bone" is harder than the metal of the fork, this is impossible.

Also the nose should be red and swollen as the body's defence reaction steps in and reacts to the foreign body.
