My mom and I saw about 40 minutes of it last night, as the eclipse was starting. It was great. She said she hadn't seen one for a very long time. With just your eye you could see the moon's surface black out, with just the rim being visible, and then slowly turning orange red. The most bottom tip of the moon did not change color for the time we were seeing it. We would have stayed outside and watched the rest, but it was getting close to 3 in the morning, and we were getting bitten by little bugs outside. Gotta spray the yard.
