Topic: finding my accounts

I have run into a problem with an account.  I am in the Dynaverse Thor with an account and flying Lyran.  I am here in another account(which is registered as Gorn in Thor).  I wish to view my character on the OCI for Thor(Lyran), but cannot access the account I am flying under.  I am positive on the password but unclear on how to find the account as I do not know what name it is under.
Is there any way to track that account?  Or is there any way for me to find the proper account name?

Hmmm.... this is what the whole Race Transfers thing was supposed to avoid.

But all you need to do is change your email on the forums here to match the game account you want to use which will require a valid email, as I think you'll get a re-confirmation email to reactivate your forums account from the new email address.

Or you could have Capt_SFHQ track the emails down in the game server database and edit them appropriately.

I will try to change my email in this account to the other one to see if that works or not.  Barring that, I dont know what to do for it.  I have tried to log in here under the other email but I do not have the name right.

WELL, now I am fubared.  I cannot get into any account but this one as it has sent me the activation code to an email I dont seem to have.  I cant log in under the other account as I dont know the name of the account.  I still cannot access my Lyran account on the OCI for Thor either, ugh.

Guess I will have to fumble around with what I have, till I can figure out a cure.

Went ahead and activated your e-mail change to your Dfly acct on the forums here, and on it, of you loose the "_" in that e-mail address in the fourms( Dfly acct), then that is the e-mail your laryan acct is on according to the OCI.

Thanks, I will try to set that up.  The "_" was in there because for some reason it did not want to accept my attempt at the no "_", which seemed odd to me at the time.

OK, Back in as Dfly.  I tried to get rid of the "_" again, and it still comes back as:"you must have a valid email address" and wont let me use the email address without the "_" in it.

I don't get it.

OK then, lets see how the OCI reacts, I will edit your character (Dfly) to include the "_" to match your user profile e-mail so it will recognize you and you'll be able to access the player controls of the OCI now.

Edit: Done, try accessing it now.
Edit2: If your able to get into the OCI but now cant get into the directory servers or something else due to the edit with the "_" then let me know

A really funny thing seems to have happened.  I now can see myself in the OCI BUT,,,, when I log into the dyna campaign(with OCI off) I had to make a new account with the same account I had  .
When I try to get the dyna to change to the email with "_" it tells me I have no account like that.  UGH.

SO CLOSE was I.

Now I can buy a ship in the OCI, but I can't fly it eheh.  HMMM, just had a thought.  wonder if I can transfer stuff to myself?  Unfortunately that may not let me see myself in OCI and Dyna with the same account, but who knows.

OK, I'll look for it, but umm.. its getting late here, so I'll fix you all up tomorrow hopefully, but yea if you had to create a new acct on The forge to get in I will just transfer all your PP and stuff to your new Character.
