Topic: OCI not connected to current Forge?

Hoi Braxton, Frey or Whom it may concern,


  It's been awhile but I'm flying some missions on the Forge; it great and all but the OCI http://www.dynaverse.net/oci/index.php/cfg,theforge.html is showing the wrong map, time is frozen, and the battles are not updating. (Connected to an old db?) Has the data base been changed, using SQL? Is there a new link?...

Bonk is making me post this, one moment please..., he wants to know why there is no economy on the map as well.

Could someone please respond, soon please, he is getting down right difficult, now he wants six ship control. * down bonk, down*

Please, Bonk is babbling and foaming, he saying we need a new shipyard, where we can build our own ships and the OCI writes out a new ship list for it's own use, on the running server, in the db, and also updates the patch file at the update url for the NSIS server mod installer/updater/launcher.
 Is that too much to ask Braxton, Frey, and ya all, likkerpig are you ok with Bonk's request, Hexx? J'inn, Gook? Anyone? M'Ress you have the authority, the resources, and the influence to get this little thing done, no?

Were still on the Fragmentation Effect OCI and server. Im in the process of making a new map.. not sure if I want to put it on the regular Forge, or Fragmentaion server, or something else or what, but anyways.. yes.. http://www.dynaverse.net/oci/index.php/cfg,forgecamp.html for now

Bonk wants to know why there is no economy on the map as well.

Haven't seen the map, but a stepped static empire economy so that all empires have an empire ranking of no less than 4 tucked into corners of the map that will not see hex ownership change is what you need so everyone is able to purchase starbases. . It's possible where you are looking doesnt have economy. Econ should be tucked away into areas that won't see action. The .gf settings have to specifically match the map economy or the stepped empire rankings wont matter and everything will suck in the yards. OCI ship purchasing may find away around it.
