server ports for OP
« on: September 04, 2007, 02:54:21 am »
Have looked around and haven't seen anything posted on this.

What ports do you have to have forwarded to run an OP server (if any)?

Thanks.

An excerpt from Bonk up in the "How to" section:

For the love of God, leave zonealarm off at all times when playing on the Dynaverse.

Required ports:
47624 tcp
2300-2400 tcp&udp

And allow pings.

Or use the DMZ. (not preferred)

Unless you have Vista then you are screwed.
I grant you your soul, but not your life.

no, no Vista here, XP PRO.  I am hopping that Vista will be way, way in the future for my little computers. (got to let the bugs get worked out, I mean, when has MS ever released a version that wasn't riddled with them.)  Seems the logic MS has is just when you get a windows version mostly stable, release the newest version based on a buggy old version of the current one.
