Topic: Registration Key for Orion Pirates (Read 2145 times)

Alright never had this one before, how do I install the registration key when it doesnt seem to want to install, its like it just quits responding when I get to the enter key screen, I am running XP Home and have had that game install on here before but now it just quits responding

Someone when they coded the registration screen apparently forgot to put a GetFocus command into the splash screen. Usually a simple Alt-Tab will regain its focus.

This is an old error....
right click on your icon, go to properties
In the "target" box put:
"C:\Program Files\Taldren Software Inc\Starfleet Command Orion Pirates\StarFleetOP.exe"
In the "start in" box put:
"C:\Program Files\Taldren Software Inc\Starfleet Command Orion Pirates"

You can copy and paste this.

*NOTE* if you have it installed in a different drive other than "C", insert correct path.

Now you should be able to enter the CD key.

Okay got the key in, now it quits responding after I click on multiplayer, cant be my computer, I have had it on here before with no problem its a 3200 Athlon with 3 gigs of ram

humm.. ok, Im a little bit uncertain by "not responding".. is it freezing up to the point where you need to Alt out, is it that once you get to the multiplayer menu for D2, Direct Connect, IPX, etc nothing responds when you click on it, or something else?

Ok I can now get to the servers, however installed the neccessary files and it tells me Starfleetop.exe is missing, so where can i get that file, someone want to meet me on messanger so I can download it

What I do is just go into my game directory, locate the StarfleetOP.exe file, create a new shortcut, and place that shortcut on my desktop. Never had a problem.
