A Full House
« on: August 17, 2007, 10:51:22 am »
Well, it's been a heck of a busy few weeks here.  About two weeks ago, I set off in our new car and drove from Sacto to N.C.  There I picked up my sister, her husband, and their two kids (Tyler, 9 and Kaliann 7).  We then drove them back to California where they are now staying with us until their parents both have jobs and save up enough money to move out.  Last Saturday my maternal grandmother passed away, and the funeral was yesterday.  Overall things are going great, but we're getting used to having kids in the house all the time now.  *sigh*

They start school next week...it should be interesting.

Does a full house beat two pair?  I could never keep that straight.   :)

Sounds like a good but busy family time.  Why'd your sister move to CA from NC?  Personally I think I'd rather live in North Carolina.  Kids are fun but can be very tiring.  I have this theory that young children have the innate ability to suck the energy from any adult they come into contact with.  That's why they have so much energy, the steal it from everyone else!
