Yep... it's a 4 engine Sovereign class with that big honkin' rail gun the 3 engine Enterprise-D had. The friend I put this together for, Ian Burleson, would seriously love to see this modelled for SFCIII.

Mackie did one very similar but with three nacelles and the rail gun

And IIRC you can find a 4 nacelle one like your design at Battleclinic

i love this design with four nacelles and a type XX (20) phaser cannon i hope someone does this ship

I have now touched up the textures to say USS Republic, NCC - 1371-E and will try her out tonight.

Ian had in mind some sort of Photonic rail gun for this behemoth instead of a megaphaser (though the housings for them are certainly similar!), so that's why I had said rail gun. Either way, rail gun or megaphaser, it screams "easy button on the Captain's chair" to me.

"What?! Another Borg cube? Looks like a job for the easy button..."
