Anyone who can grab the model has my permission to host it. I know file sites can be unreliable sometimes. As for the progress, LODs are boring and tedious, as anyone will tell you. That's another reason why I released the LOD1. The LOD2 is maybe half done. I took a little time off and did some work on a new Lexington class. The Lexington is a bit tougher. It's not a perfect reproduction. I have to be creative on some of the parts.

BTW is it just me or do the textures on this version look like they've been turned into jpegs and back, like around the details there are all these little 'squares' of blurred pixels and stuff, it just looks like the file was previously a jpeg, and it's just been saved as a .bmp - am I going crazy or does anyone else notice this?

NP at all. Glad to be of help. One day I got really frustrated looking for all the hi-res tmp ships that I lost. After 2 days....lots of shutdown sites and sorting through most of chris jones mod packs later..(BTW that takes a LONG time)....I decided that compiling them to 1 place would be a great idea. After many negotiations, beer, smokes, and calling in some mafia favors, I got the Galactic Paint & Body Shop on line. My idea was that not only did my own ships need a home.....but the really great hard to find ones did too........Glad you all enjoy the site......Makes it all worth it
