This has been released! It's on the same page as the original release, but seperate as MP did the HP/DP and retexturing. I wish I'd had the time to redo it myself, then I could claim it all!
The re-release doesn't contain KF's Rom and Lyran textures, though. If you want, KF, you can send me them and I can include them in the .rar file.
Okay, I'll send them to you when they are done and the Readme files are updated.
Some notes on my train of thought about the "C-7+ subclass".
Only five have been made so far from salvagable C-7 hulls and C-5 subsystems at the Klingon shipyards at Gnuu-Re II near the Klingon-Tholian border. Three more may also be salvaged and reconstructed within the next two standard years assuming there are no further disruptions in replacement part deliveries from pirates and rouge Tholian forces that periodically attempt to destroy or disrupt freighter convoys headed to Gnuu-Re II. Unfortunately, some of the componant integration has been difficult at best between the two ship classes as the somewhat older C-5 parts don't mesh as flawlessly as Imperial Engineers have hoped with the newer C-7 hulls. This is primarily why these ships have not become widespread throughout the Imperial Fleet. Despite these short comings, Imperial Intelligence considers this handful of ships to at least be the equal of the Federation Challenger class. Imperial Intelligence also has confirmed that the Tholians believe this subclass of C-7 to be an entirely new line of warships altogether which is an unintended positive outcome for this relatively small salvage and reconstruction project.
The IKV Kraag Dorr is the smallest of the salvaged C-7/C-5 group and the only tri-nacelled ship the size of the Kleev class KCX [the STOCK KCX which is a result of the model size feature in OP+4.0]. House Vor Thruum took over the reconstruction project six weeks after Operation Unity concluded. As an experimental ship, it benefits from the same technologies and ship weaponry advances available to the K' t'inga and SuvwI' QeH classes. Its third warp engine helps provide power for the cloaking device and the heavy torpedoes. Information on the other two ships that are believed to exist in this subclass remains classified but it is assumed they are larger and are at least classified as light deadnoughts by Imperial Intelligence. It is unclear if one or both are also tri-nacelled versions similarly equipped as the IKV Kraag Dorr. All three of these vessels share the C-7 secondary hull modules that can be swapped out for fighter bays, extra drone racks or additional impulse power units as the mission parameters demand.
The single Rihannsu and the single Lyran version that are known to exist have older and different warp engines than their Klingon counterparts because these were hurriedly put back together with parts that were available at the Gnuu-Re II shipyards at that time. They were both uneventfully delivered without any heavy weapons equipped on them. Imperial Intelligence agents have learned that the Lyran version has more power readily available than the Rihannsu version and has also been armed with three standard photon torpedo launchers in addition to the regular complement of Lyran ESGs and disruptors. The Rihannsu version is armed with three plasma launchers and, despite its power hungry cloak, it retains a noteworthy tactical advantage over its Lyran counterpart. Each of these vessels have been equipped with mechlinks that allows them to carry a minimum of two psuedo-fighters into battle.
The Hydrans have never captured one of these.
Anybody care to do specs for these?
