Hi all, this is just a quick "show post" for Klingon Fanatic. He requested a Klingon Kitbash, and I quickly knocked this together. KF, can you tell me if this is what you envisioned, or of you want further modifications?

As I said in my IM, I think the central nacelle is way to big and could do with being a standard D7 nacelle instead of a C7 one.

I would resize the C-7 naceles to the same size as the original C-7 and/or Firesoul's KDNL.

Other than that, this is exactly what I was looking for!

Hi KF, I've downsized the nacelles by 20%. How does he look to you now?

That looks Much better!

It looks like your are missing a center wap strut texture but I think it can be fixed if you drop this into Firesoul's KDNL model folder.

This is one of the best Klingon kitbashes to come along in years.

I already have a Qo Nos 1 texture set and a Romulan stormbird texture set ready to go; if we get the two engine version too that will give the SFC community a total of three textured variants; regular textures , Qo Nos 1 and Romulanized versions.

For the Romulan version I used the Storm King available at Battleclinic. The Stromking uses a variation of Atrahasis' V-11 Strombird textures that continue to shine today.

For the Qo NoS 1 version I used the Kronos 1 also at Battleclinic.

I tried dropping the Kraag Dorr .MOD files into Firesoul's KDNL folder to try to fix the missing third nacelle texture but that didn't work.

Maybe one of our model gurus can remap the missing textures and perhaps map some warp engine glows a la Moonraker's K' t'inga/Qo Nos 1?

Well folks lets cheer Scottish Andy and the other kitbashers and model makers out there on when we see a non-Federation model in the works.

There's not much point in having a sexy looking Federation ship if you don't have equally cool adversary ships to fight against.

Thanks again to Scottish Andy for kitbashing this and for Moonraker's and Atrahasis' continued support of the SFC community.

I fixed the mesh, and harpoints (way too many and multiple duplicates) as requested KF. See attachment.

I just finished the Lyran version using DuctTapeWonder's Lyranized D-7.

What we have now are texture sets for the big three coalition powers:

C-5: K, L, R

C-7: K, L, R

Kraag Dorr C-7 subclass [two engine kitbash] K, L, R

IKV Kraag Dorr; I prefer to think of this as a unique ship, armed with Heavy photons, cloak and more offensive power. I'm working on using Mooonraker's original SuvwI' QeH wing textures in place of his Kronos One wing textures.

Now if we could get the inside engine glow textures mapped a la Qo' Nos 1/D-7 these ships will look even better IMHO.

OK KF everything you need is in the attached folder. Just drop it in your kcx folder and both the 2 and 3 nacelle version of this one are good to go. Again I had to fix the HP/DP errors for both

NOW that I fixed these and the other versions of the earlier request, GET TO THE RELEASING ALREADY !!!!!
