The Capital Ship class of vessels consists of several large, combat oriented starships used for frontline military combat and defence.
Unlike their Federation counterparts,  Klingon Dreadnoughts and Battle Cruisers have very little science capability.
Capital Ships are the largest front line Starship in most fleets.

Is there any literature on this actual design? It's one of the oddest looking Klingon ships I've seen. Naturally, it makes MORE sense than some of the FASA Klingon designs I've seen.
