I've been on a slight hiatus, having just been made a DM on Amia and selling my house.  I will get SFHQ on some of the things in my PM box, and look into some of the larger issues today.

All I've seen for carriers is an I-PV even the Hvy war destroyer version hasn't been seen yet.Can this be fixed? If it can't, can the shipyards on the OCI at least run in the same era be fixed?

Is there any way to have the Shipyard on the OCI up tp date with the campaign?
The ships in the yards are at LEAST 10 years behind the time in capmaign.

Is there a possibility of getting the heavy iron back in the list? Ship restrictions on a fun server is somewhat useless when there is virtually no opposition. Since BB's are heavily restricted or not allowed in major campains, the Forge is pretty well the only place you can fly them. Also, with bases being dropped everywhere, it will give a guy a chance to make headway if there is nobody on to wing with.

As it sits right now, it's the Coalition Show and the Alliance needs all the help it can get.

Please! (twitches) I need my BBVZ fix!  :o

The Coalition has recieved and accepted the complete surrender of the Alliance forces.

Well Done Warriors of the Coalition!  :BoeseSmilies (71):

I salute the Alliance forces for their valiant efforts.
Especially Deadman who fought so hard to get his pilots on.
Perhaps if you could get those lackeys who post so much to actually log on once ina while, the next one will be more balanced.  ;)

You may retsart the Forge with a new map, and hopefully the shiplist similiar to ones used in campaigns at any time, sir.

If you change anything in the downloads, please also pull the patrol mission that turns out to be a convoy attack, when drawn on a planet. Thanks.

my voite, I like the SFB shiplists, but that is only because I know it better.  But the one we had works also if most people like that one.

This is one of the things Im not sure if I want to do or not. If the shiplist changes then everyone will have to redownload and redownload new mission scripts.. something Im not exactly sure I want to have happen as Im sure sojme dont want it to change at all.. humm.. I'll wait for a few more to post their thoughts and will decide when I get back from dinner in a few hours. BBs will be avaliable as well once I put it up though.

Is it not possible to simply pull the mission serverside? I'm pretty sure that has been done for problematic missions before, not so sure if it makes a difference with the SQL.
I'm also pretty sure that if we download another shiplist, it won't affect what mission scripts we have at all.
As long as the shiplist is a one-step easy to use installer, with an equally easy uninstaller, I doubt many will mind downloading a SFB-style shiplist.
The issues 90% of players have is when you have to "just put these files in that folder, this one here, and then run this thing" and then when wanting to switch back they wind up having to do a complete reinstall.  ;)
*sigh* Pesty was always so good at making those "installer for dummies" type of things...heh.

IMOHPO, I would prefer the same type of shiplist that we've been using on all the other campaigns for the past couple years, with the fighters, P/Fs for everybody and the SFB style ships.

Yes it is possible(Im pretty sure anyways), but thanks to Dave's hard work, we'll have fixed versions for this next set :) , so for now because it will be a newer version, that mission wont be pulled unless we encounter the same problem with these new versions.

The new scripts will be in a .exe file, and I'll be sure to put the SFB shiplist in as well if we go with that

OK, well from the sounds of it, most people are wanting the SFB shiplist, so I'll go to bed tonight, then if I dont hear any major objections when I re-log on tomorrow, I'll post up the new server with the links to the new mission scripts and shiplist .exe installer :)

No objections I take it, so we'll go with SFB shiplist and new Forge scripts..
packing them into an .exe file now. Will post a new Forge topic when Im done. Look for the server to launch tonight at around 8:30PM EST to 9:00PM EST. I'll have the .exe file for download posted a few hours before then. :)

TRY TO BE ON TONIGHT FOR THE LAUNCH EVEN IF IT CAN ONLY BE FOR 5 MINUTES .. if we can get a lot of people on at once it would really help people.. I mean really!! Just run a mission or 2 if you only have that much time. If everyone gets on, it helps and you being on does count :)
