one minor complaint though, am i just being picky  or does the texture look a little fuzzy? You ought to be using two 1024x1024 :>

Im using a 1024x1024 and a 1024x256. The needle is what the 1024x256 is, and thats because the mapping is wierd. I need to go about redoing that map, I think.

I just realized that the fuzzyness is because of the horrid jpeg compression, could you post a pic of two that isnt/arent so compressed?

I'd forgotten how much Max's Jpeg Compression Algorithm sucks. These are max quality from Photoshop.
Oh, and I was wrong about the spindle size - its 1024x128.

Like the outer one the best can see that as a bubble cockpit for excellent views, maybe it could be a chuttle or something as well.

Thanks Centurus. To be honest, though, I am not looking forward to the starbase as I was with the starships - Bases are a bigger pain -=shrug=-.

Anyways,

The Dreadnought is done, the CA and BC are tweaked and completed.



And the Light Cruiser is unwrapped and textured in 1 hour.
